BY CAR

The most common road ways to the island of Rab are:
- through Slovenia: Ljubljana - Postojna (Pivka) - border crossing Rupa (Jelšane) - Rijeka - Senj - Jablanac - Mišnjak (Rab)
- through Italy: Trst - border crossing Kozina - Rijeka - Senj - Jablanac - Mišnjak (Rab)
- from Austria: Salzburg-Ljubljana-Rijeka-Rab

- from Zagreb: Zagreb - Karlovac - Senj - Jablanac (highway Zagreb-Split, exit Žuta lokva -Senj - Jablanac).

When traveling by car, the island is approached by ferryboat.

BY BOAT AND FERRYBOAT

The island of Rab is connected to the coast through ferryboat lines:
IslandlRabCroati- Mišnjak (Rab Island) - Jablanac and
IslandlRabCroati- Valbiska (Krk Island) - Lopar (Rab Island).

The main line Jablanac - Mišnjak by Rapska plovidba travels throughout the year 8 - 20 times a day or more if necessary. Trip duration is 10 to 15 minutes.

The Valbiska - Lopar line by LNP travels only few times a day, connecting the islands Rab and Krk (approached using the Krk bridge).

Rab is connected to Rijeka by an everyday Jadrolinija's catamaran, traveling from and to Rijeka the same day.
